This is a great little daily driver. It’s got its quarks that come with a 40 year old unrestored car, but it’s been nothing but trustworthy for me. Was daily driven until September. Super rust free underneath, however there is some rust on some of the wheel wells (see pictures). It often will not like to idle until it’s been ran for a minute or 2, I suspect it’s something to do with the automatic choke; it’s never been enough of an issue for me to fix. The windshield wiper switch is a bit finicky, and the stereo does not work. Windshield has some cracks, the car is in good shape for its age.
This thing has fantastic bones, it shifts smooth, runs smooth, nothing crazy in the power department, but it will do triple digits if you give it time. I get 27-34 mpg depending on how I’m driving.
Comes with original toolkit and spare tire. No power steering, no cruise control, no AC. This thing was designed back when men were men, and ash trays were more important than cup holders. See less
